Draw Leaf Trestle Table

Designed and crafted today to transport you to a time when tables were used for everything done short of chopping wood on them. In the process we distressed this piece with hand planes, spoke shaves, chisels, gouges, chains, awls and more.  The hardwood is solid alder with a two stage staining process to enhance the aged feel. The trestle pedestal is through mortised and tenon joinery.  Table measures 42" wide  by 74" long closed and 102" with both leaves extended.
